When you reach the Stormshore Tabernacle in the Lower City of Baldur’s Gate, you have the chance to pay respect to one of several deities’ statues. It can be confusing to know which god to choose and how much to offer, so here are a few tips that can help you get the best out of the situation.

What god should you worship in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Although the options are many, I tested making offerings to every god, and the reward is always the same. So, which god you choose only serves role-playing purposes.

Regardless of which statue you pick, once you offer them a certain amount of gold, you will receive a buff called Anointed in Splendour. The blessing grants you +2 in all Saving Throws until the next long rest, and you can reclaim it for free every day by praying in front of the same statue.

How much gold should you offer the deity’s statue in BG3?

By the time I reached the house of worship I was level 10, and I had to pay over 3750 gold to receive the blessings. However, I realized the amount of gold you have to offer increases with your character level. So here is a tip that can save you a lot of money:

• Go back to your camp, talk to Withers and reset your class to level one.
• Come back to the temple and make the offerings. Because you are level one, you will only need to pay 400 gold.
• Once you have the blessing, complete your level-ups.

How to get back your money after making an offering in BG3

If you have already paid a lot of money, there is still a way in which you can get everything back. But be prepared to offend the gods.
